2017 has been a busy year for Western Australian company kwik-ZIP Spacers and Centralisers. kwik-ZIP manufacture and supply a centralizer and spacer system for many industry sectors including production well drilling, trenchless pipeline, and the general civil and construction markets. 

kwik-ZIP products have been developed to solve challenges in the trenchless and pipeline, vertical production drilling, and ground engineering industries, helping contractors comply with numerous regulations.

In June kwik-ZIP won the Micro Business award at the Rising Star Awards. The Rising Stars Awards recognises and celebrates WA-based companies that are growing - private and public, old and new, large and small. The Micro Business category was introduced this year for organisations with less than 5 full time equivalent staff, which had been trading for at least the last three financial years. 

kwik-ZIP was also awarded the Small Business Award at the 2017 Western Australian Industry & Export Awards in October and received a High Commendation Finalist Certificate for the Regional Exporter category.

Premier Mark McGowan described The WA Industry and Export Awards as “a unique opportunity to celebrate the breadth and diversity of the State's business community”.

"While the winning companies are vastly different in industry, focus and size, they all share a commitment to be the best in their field and create jobs and opportunities for Western Australians,” he said.

At the 24th Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards, kwik-ZIP won the Most Innovative Enterprise.

Carol Hanlon, Founder of Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards & Founding Manager of Belmont Business Enterprise Centre Inc. (BEC) said the awards provide “a fantastic opportunity for small and growing enterprises from Belmont and across Western Australia to be recognised for their achievements”.
