The Anticimex Group has made a total of four acquisitions in the past six months in Australia and New Zealand.
Anticimex continues their expansion on Australian shores with the recent acquisition of South Coast Pest Control (SCPC) in Warrilla, NSW. This follows the acquisition of The Pest Guys in Perth, WA, made earlier in the year.
The well-known Australian brand has been providing pest management & hygiene services since 1918. The company’s network of pest control & hygiene operators offer localised service across Australia and New Zealand, from over 36 branches and depots.
SCPC, led by Peter Hill-Harrison, has been servicing the pest control needs of predominantly commercial customers between Sydney and Ulladulla. The SCPC business will merge with Flick Anticimex’s South Coast branch.
Flick Anticimex Central Regional Manager Greg Wallace said the deal enhanced and extended the company’s existing market-leading pest control services in Southern NSW.
“Peter Hill-Harrison and his team have built a strong reputation for delivering a quality service over many years, resulting in a long-term partnership with a portfolio of clients. I believe the two businesses complement each other extremely well, and SCPC is a welcomed addition to one of our most successful branches," he said.
Continued expansion in New Zealand market
The Anticimex Group has also extended its reach in the New Zealand market recently with the acquisition of two pest control companies based in Palmerston North: NZ Pest Management and Bug Busters Manawatu.
Bug Busters Manawatu, run by owner and technician, Ian Jensen, delivers quality residential and commercial pest control services to Wellington residents, while NZ Pest Management led by Paul Blumenthal is a key commercial pest control provider in the Wellington area.
The two businesses will merge with the Anticimex Group’s existing Wellington branch.
Flick Anticimex looks forward to enjoying accelerated growth in the Asian market through its recent entry into Singapore and Malaysia.
