The annual Australian Business Awards are an all-encompassing awards program which recognises organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement.
For the second consecutive year, ActivePipe, an automated communications platform for the real estate industry, has been recognised as an ABA100 Winner in the Technology Innovation, Marketing Innovation and Software Innovation categories of the Australian Business Awards.
Now in their thirteenth year, The Australian Business Awards program honours high-performing organisations for their achievements both nationally and internationally. Each year ABA100 Winners are recognised for their commitment to business and product innovation and for their achievements in transforming business practices and end user experiences.
According to CEO Ashley Farrugia, Melbourne-based ActivePipe is going from strength to strength, locally and globally, experiencing significant growth both at home and overseas, streamlining the way real estate agents communicate with their customers.
“It is an exciting time for the real estate industry and with our innovative marketing automation and data discovery technology, we are playing a pivotal role in carving out agents who are lifting the bar in the way they communicate to their customer and being more innovative and smarter in their business,” he said.
Since launching in 2015, ActivePipe has increased service standards with automated communication journeys delivered on a real estate agent’s behalf. With this ground-breaking technology, real estate agents are able to nurture contacts with relevant and timely information at each stage of the property journey.
In 2018 ActivePipe has successfully completed a $5.9m Series A funding round, led by NAB Ventures and PieLab Venture Partners, and was one of only eight companies chosen for the exclusive National Association of Realtors® Second Century Ventures 2018 REach® accelerator program in the US.
“I feel extremely proud of our team as our culture is all about trust and empowering our staff to do great things without being micromanaged. The fact we are here again in 2018 is testament to the culture we have created. You can't build beautiful tech if your staff don't love their jobs!” said Farrugia.
Australian Business Awards, Program Director, Tara Johnston said “With technology rapidly evolving, it is essential that organisations remain ahead of the curve by continuously exploring and embracing new technologies and investing in the education, training and development of their workforce in order remain competitive.”
“High performing organisations, like ActivePipe that have adopted an innovation culture to achieve optimal levels of productivity and performance have been recognised in this year’s ABA100,” Ms Johnston added.
