Valley Heights local Renee Tilley turned the herbs and plants growing in abundance around her home into a multi-award winning product range for her business, Paudha Healing.
Following six months of extensive testing, the annual Beauty Shortlist Awards have announced their winning ethical, natural and eco-friendly beauty products from over 30 countries around the world.
For the second time, the highly regarded annual global beauty awards have named Blue Mountains skincare range Paudha Healing’s Nourish & Repair Face Oil editor’s choice.
Paudha (pronounced pow-da), means ‘plant’ in Hindi.
“Our Nourish & Repair Face Oil continues to be one of our top selling products each month and winning this award back in 2017 and for the second time in 2019, really confirms what our customers are saying about this amazing oil,” said Paudha Healing Owner and Director Renee Tilley.
Paudha Healing is now looking to expand its network of retail stockists with the goal of being readily available across Australia and New Zealand by the end of 2019.
Blue Mountains resident Renee created Paudha Healing while studying a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). Renee discovered the incredible healing properties of herbs and plants growing wild and in abundance around her home – plants often considered weeds!
Renee went on to study cosmetic chemistry to combine her in-depth knowledge of herbs with advanced chemical formulations to create skincare products that were safe and effective for all skin types.
Her products are hand made in the Blue Mountains using locally sourced Australian Certified Organic ingredients wherever possible. Paudha Healing has been accredited as a cruelty free skincare company by Choose Cruelty Free Australia.
The Beauty Shortlist Awards have become one of the most trusted in the industry by consumers. Claiming to be 100% sponsorship, advertisement and partnership free, the awards aim to actively seek out ethical brands, putting them under intense testing by a judging panel of industry leaders from the UK, USA and Australia.
