Maude, Curtis Stone’s Beverley Hills restaurant, has released a new menu inspired by South Australia's historic Hutton Vale Farm.
The spotlight is on South Australia with Barossa’s Hutton Vale Farm inspiring the new seasonal menu at Maude, Curtis Stone’s Beverley Hills’ restaurant.
First established in 1843, Hutton Vale farm is a mixed produce farm run by the 6th and 7th generation Angas family, renowned for their fine wine, unique farm stay accommodation, quality wool, free-range natural pasture lamb and hand-made artisan produce. As the current custodians of the land, the Angas family run the farm in a sustainable manner, only taking what is absolutely necessary from the land to allow for future generations.
Curtis Stone visited the farm with his team from Maude in October last year and has lauded the trip, writing “The penultimate afternoon of our stay in Barossa was at Hutton Vale [Farm] among grapes and merino sheep” on his website for Maude.
“Our visit to Hutton Vale Farm provided us with inspiration for our South Australia menu,” Maude posted on Facebook in February 2020.

Hutton Vale Farm has recently opened a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom private villa on the property offering the ultimate farm stay experience. A private airstrip allows guests to arrive by road or by plane, directly onto the property’s airstrip. Guests are invited to order seasonal produce from the farm and a chef can be arranged to do all the cooking so guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the absolute best the Barossa has to offer.
“By sharing our 176-year-old farm with visitors, we hope to introduce them to a sustainable life and bring them relaxation and happiness away from the stresses of city life,” John Angas commented.
