The Captains Mountain Quarry on the south-west side of Millmerran in Queensland is for sale.

Comprising 485 hectares, the site is a proven quarry resource with the highest rock strength in the region and comes with an extraction license of more than 1 million tonnes.

The blue metal quarry is central to the $10 billion inland rail construction and is positioned 34 kilometres from the newly announced Bulli Creek Solar Farm (5400ha, 2000megawatt proposed to start shortly), while also near Acciona’s massive wind farm.
