New season of Nerds of Business looks at the common product development challenges that all businesses must overcome, with entrepreneurs drawn from businesses worth in excess of $500m.

Product development experts and top entrepreneurs will reveal the ‘design thinking’ secrets of billion-dollar companies in the second series of the Nerds of Business podcast.
“Season one on ‘branding’ was a smash hit,” Darren Moffatt, host of the Nerds of Business and co-founder of digital marketing agency Webbuzz said.
“We reached a high of number three in the business podcast charts, had over 13,000 downloads since the launch in May and listeners in more than 55 countries. Nerds of Business also featured in the ‘New & Noteworthy’ section of Apple podcasts.
“In season two our ‘panel of nerds’ attempt to solve the common product development challenges that all businesses must overcome, one problem at a time.
“Our entrepreneur nerds are drawn from businesses worth in excess of $500 million. Collectively, they have all designed and developed successful product and services across a diverse range of industries including venture capital, real estate, hospitality, human resources, banking, health, technology, and electronic consumer goods.
The guest nerds include Mina Radhakrishnan, Founder & CEO at Different.com.au, Sven Almenning, CEO of the Speakeasy Group & founder of Viking Whisky Bar Mjolner, Anson Parker, Head of Product at Up Bank, Emlyn Scott, Managing Partner CP Ventures and Jessica Sepel, Founder of JS Health.
“The series also features two expert nerds, Ross Gales and Carrie Peters, who are leaders from the world of product design.”
Ross is the director of design & Strategy at esteemed digital design & UX agency, Pollen with clients included Canstar, Gumtree, NSW Govt, and UTS, while Carrie is the Product Design Principal at UsTwo a digital agency whose clients include Lego & Jaguar. Previously Carrie has designed for Nike and tech unicorn Class Pass.
