Nando’s is the first restaurant group to rollout ‘At Table Ordering’ technology across the Australian market.
Nando’s Australia has revealed their new At Table Ordering technology, puts the power back into the customer’s hands allowing dine-in orders to be placed through the Nando’s app from the comfort of their table.
The At Table Ordering option also allows multiple orders to the same table, so individuals can order their own meal and pay separately, making social situations stress-free.
The brand-new technology is the first of many innovations to come from Nando’s recently developed ten-year customer experience strategy.
Helen Reece, Nando’s Marketing Director, said the new technology allows customers to experience the Nando’s taste in their own way, in their own time.
“Nando’s is the first to bring out this technology in the fast-casual dining market across our network of over 120 company owned restaurants, and a small number of franchise operated restaurants, which we’re really excited about. Customer service excellence is a focus of ours and we’ll be continuing to work on innovative ways to make our in-restaurant experience as enjoyable and simple as possible.
“Designed to improve customer experience, the apps new capabilities mean customers won’t even have to leave their seat to receive excellent customer service and a Nando’s meal,” she said.

The launch coincides with the announcement of a new partnership with Melbourne based digital services business, Inlight. Following a competitive pitch process, Inlight have been engaged to re-design and build Nando’s digital platforms. The first phase will see a focus on sales and membership of Nando’s successful PERi Perks loyalty program.
